Hi all,
Looking to hear from people regarding how they're dealing with issues that arise when changes to water pressure impact fire services. For example, if a council instructs a customer to install a backflow prevention device, they install a RPZ device and then later have an internal fire hose reel test as non-compliant for minimum discharge. Or PRVs are installed in a network as part of a pressure reduction project resulting in internal fire hydrants later failing their annual testing.
We found some relevant info (see links below) but would like to find out how other NSW LWUs are handling these issues.
