Executive Committee Nominations Called

The Constitution of the Water Directorate requires that an election for Executive Committee members is held every two years. The Executive Committee is generally made up of 2 representatives from each of the 9 regions around NSW. See an up-to-date list of the current Executive Committee and the nine regions here.

Nominations for positions on the 2015-16 Executive Committee are now being called. If you or a colleague are interested in nominating for a position on the Executive Committee please ask your General Manager to fill in the nomination form and return it by 5pm Friday 5 December 2014. Only your General Manager is able to nominate and elect regional representatives.

If more nominations are received than available positions then a regional election will be held. The ballot paper will be faxed to your General Manager on Monday 8 December 2014. The nominees in a regional election will be notified and invited to provide a brief bio as background to assist with the election.

The results of the nomination and election process will be declared by Wednesday 17 December 2014. If you would like any more information about the role of the Executive Committee please contact the Returning Officer, Gary Mitchell, on 8267 3010.
