Can anyone please advise on brands & types of induct vents (air admittance valves) for sewage pumping stations?
Uralla Council has a new SPS and getting intermittent odour emissions from the inlet manhole (2.4m diam emergency storage chamber) upstream of the pump wet well. The pump wet well has a 100mm induct vent through the lid with gases drawn away to a 9m stack vent with wind-operated fan. The inlet manhole has no induct vent but has a 100m pipe just under lid level that connects to the pump well to let gas out. We’re looking to retrofit an induct vent on the inlet manhole, seeking recommendations on best make/model and air flowrate?
