Hi all, Was hoping to speak with anyone who has recently undertaken construction of a small scale sewerage scheme (less than 100 connections). Our construction cost estimates to date have varied wildly, and the scheme is simply unaffordable at the
higher end. The scheme is to provide sewerage to existing developed lots, of 'standard' residential lot size, on sloping terrain. Single pump station, oxidization pond treatment system. Can respond via forum or shoot me an email if you're able to discuss
a recent similar project. Cheers, Phil Hood Acting Director Infrastructure Services - UHSC 0408 910 118 phood@upperhunter.nsw.gov.au

Phil, We recently completed a pressure sewer scheme for around 140 ET. It was a brown field site and only included the reticulation so no major pump stations or treatment plants if that is any help? Matt Kidd.

Hi Phil, When i was the manager at Wagga, we completed a conventional gravity sewer project for the village of Mangoplah in 2015/16. It was designed for around 60 connections with only around 30 for immediate connection and consisted of full HDPE
mains, 2 package pump stations, a Rotating Disc System with a matutation and evap (storage) pond. The STW was originally designed as full earthern oxidation process; however the costs were more than anticipated due to geotech results, so we adjusted the design
to utilise the combination of RDS and ponds. Total budget for the project was estimated at around $2m; however we delivered for around $1.2m at the time. Happy to provide you all the information i have. Cheers Geoff - Goldenfields Water
