Does anyone have any experience or advice regarding the potential use of GRP pipe instead of traditional DICL pipe for a water trunk main? Our pipeline to Murrurundi will be constructed from PVC in lower pressure areas, but there is some deliberation as to the best pipe material for the higher pressure zones. Regards, Phil Hood EDIT: Nevermind - we are no longer considering GRP for any components of the pipeline. However, feel free to comment if you have a strong opinion on the matter. Cheers, Phil.

Eurobodalla Shire has used and prefers GRP pipe in trunk main situations. The only negative is that the dimensions can vary marginally along the pipe so you have to be selective when selecting a pipe to cut.
