Executive Committee

The Executive Committee consists of 20 representatives, 18 elected from the membership and two nominated from Local Government NSW. The committee meets every two months to guide the activities and direction of the Water Directorate. Representatives are elected every two years with nominations provided by General Managers of member councils.

Strategic Plan

The Water Directorate Strategy 2030 aims to enhance the security, reliability, quality, and resilience of water resources across New South Wales. Key focus areas include addressing regulatory challenges and promoting innovation, knowledge sharing and knowledge management, local water utility risk and resilience, and workforce development - skills, knowledge and training.
