Three words. Countless impacts across our communities.
The theme this year for International Women in Engineering Day (#INWED) is Engineering Intelligence.
We’re proud to recognise the remarkable contributions of women and those who identify as women applying creativity, insight, and courage to solve complex challenges and drive inclusive progress across industries and communities.
From safe, reliable water supply to sustainable infrastructure and leadership that inspires the next generation, here’s what #INWED means to members of our Executive Committee:
"Engineering is where technical thinking meets human impact. For me, that means making a real difference where it matters most - delivering safe, reliable water services to every home, every day.
As a woman in engineering, I’m proud to be part of an industry that solves real-world problems and supports the wellbeing of our communities."
"The water industry truly forms the foundation of our most precious resource, and I believe that women bring unique perspectives to tackling the complex challenges we face.
Our insight and approach is invaluable, helping create innovative solutions and inspiring leadership that will guide and support the next generation, strengthening our collective ability to care for communities and the environment."
"Engineering is a powerful force in creating community. When women use their engineering intelligence to lead, design, innovate and problem solve, our communities are richer in all respects."
