Council has resolved to install a water filling station for the supply of bulk. I have been trying to locate suppliers of this equipment and have only come up with one so far. I know that many other Councils have installed these systems would like some
advise as to what companies they have used and what there experience has been with the implementation of the system.

Hi Richard, Upper Hunter recently installed an Abberfield system at Merriwa during the height of the drought. Our exsting metered standpipes in Scone are basic Avdata units. The Abberfield unit is certainly well presented, and seems robust enough. The advantage is the ability for ease of small volume, domestic sales via credit card transaction - but note this can make it harder to monitor bulk sales to registered water carts, as you don't need to come into Council to get an access key. I think it's a good unit should it be located in a highly visable space (as it certainly looks flash), but hasn't really provided much functional advantage over our existing Avdata systems. We're likely to install more units in the near future and I would use either system happily depending on the target user and location. Cheers, Phil H

Richard, Tamworth Regional Council has installed 8 bulk water filling stations in the last 12 -18 months. We used a supplier called Aberfeldld Industires. At the time they were the only supplier we could find. I dont know if there are any more
now. We are pretty happy with the units installed by Abberfield. Happy to discuss further if you wish Thanks Bruce Logan

Hello, We currently have 4 refilling stations in use. We use Avdata control panels which require the user to register and recieve a key/swipe tag. We only use prepaid keys where customers can purchase credit online however there is also the option
for postpaid if you have large users. The stations can use solar or mains power. We have been happy with the services of Avdata and the online access we have to review use etc. Happy for you to contact me directly to provide more information regarding our
designs and costs. Cadia also provide control panels but I have no experience with them. https://www.cadia.com.au/product-group/32597-water-filling-stations/category/2929-filling-stations?osCsid=64ce2c3140a69c48006f4b5fed36cb17 Sammy Jung Goldenfields
