2009 savewater! awards® to host International guests

International guests will gather in Sydney this Friday to celebrate the national savewater! awards®.
The savewater! awards® has emerged as the leading water sustainability awards in Australia because they recognise water saving stars for their outstanding achievements.
For the first time in 2009 these awards have extended beyond Australian shores, with the ‘Product Innovations’ category launching internationally. The International Product Innovations category saw many entries from around the world and finalists include United Kingdom’s Dry Planet, United States’ Rehbein Environmental Solutions and New Zealand’s Fisher & Paykel Appliances.
Mr Nigel Finney, CEO of the savewater!® Alliance Inc. is pleased about the involvement of international companies. “It was extremely impressive to see a number of eligible entries coming from the UK, USA, Africa, India, New Zealand and Canada” said Finney.
