The Call for Excellence Awards Nominations are now being sought for the 2010. The Water Directorate sponsors the Innovation in Water and Wastewater category at the IPWEA (NSW Division) Excellence Awards each year to promote and recognise excellence in water and sewerage services by a member council.
All member councils are encouraged to nominate a recently completed project in this category. Please remember that nominations are judged on their merits and are not constrained by project size or council/ organisation size. Submissions for Excellence Award nominations close on the Thursday 7th of January 2010 and all projects must be submitted by Monday 1st of February 2010.
The winning awards will be announced at the Excellence Awards Dinner on Monday 17th May 2010 as part of the IPWEA (NSW Division) Annual Conference. Next year the conference will be held at the Novotel Hotel in Wollongong from 16-19 May 2010 and the theme is ‘Enhancing Skills, Empowering Communities’. The Call for Papers is now open and papers based on your award nomination are strongly encouraged.
