We are very pleased to announce that the latest Water Directorate publication was mailed out in mid January to General Managers of all NSW member Councils. This O&M Manual template for WTPs is the ninth operation and maintenance manual and the second joint O&M project withthe Queensland Water Directorate.
Due to the large volume of paper (over 1000 pages) and the fact that not all 20 treatment sections are appropriate to all Councils a CD ROM was issued in a folder with only the introductory chapters printed.
The O&M Manual template for WTPs was written by City Water Technology for the NSW and QLD Water Directorates and where necessary contains some subtle differences for each state. The project was a pleasure to manage and all parties were happy with the outcome.
Additional copies of the O&M Manual for WTPs are available for purchase from the Water Directorate at a cost of $245 for member councils and $970 for non members.
