Manual for Wet & Dry Well Sewage Pumping Stations

The Water Directorate is
very pleased to have developed an Operations and Maintenance
Manual for Wet and Dry Well
Sewage Pumping Stations on behalf of our 90 member Councils.
This Operations
and Maintenance (O&M) Manual is the fifth
to be prepared by Albury Water under contract to the Water
Directorate. A series of O&M manuals is being developed to
assist local government in delivering a reliable
and cost-effective operations and maintenance regime. The
user of this manual
will be those local government authorities throughout NSW
responsible for the operation and maintenance of Wet and
Dry Well Sewage Pumping Stations. The manual is presented
in a template format so that any Council can easily use it
to suit their specific local installations and conditions.
It is divided into several sections with each section concentrating
upon a different aspect of implementing a best practice O&M
regime.
This manual addresses the requirements of the new NSW occupational
health and safety regulation and act and will be particularly
useful for the implementation of the new legislation.
