The Water Directorate
is aware that some councils were not able to send representatives
to
the Water Directorate's four
regional Workshops for O&M Manuals in May, June and July.
It is possible that an additional Workshop could be held
in Sydney in August to cater for those that missed out,
provided that at least 15 representatives can attend.
Please advise Gary Mitchell by Friday 12 July on 8267 3010
if you are fairly certain that you can attend, given that
a date hasn't been set.
The workshops are designed
to assist staff to develop O&M
Manuals for the types of infrastructure covered by the O&M
Manuals produced so far. However more importantly, the workshops
are also particularly useful for the development of all WMSs
which are very topical given Workcover's 1 September 2002
deadline.
