A Water Loss Management workshop will be in held in Merimbula on Wednesday 24 October 2007. The purpose of the workshop is to provide an overview of:
water loss investigation including water balance and Infrastructure Leakage Index calculation for each attendees system;
the 4 management practices for managing real losses;
the principles and techniques of sectorisation (zoning), flow and pressure
measurement, Active Leakage Control and pressure management;
flow/pressure measurement and datalogging, leak detection and pressure
management equipment; and
the Water Loss Management Program for regional NSW water utilities.
