IPART Water Resource Management Costings

Consultant reports on Bulk Water Capital Expenditure
and Operating Expenditure and the Water Resource Management
Expenditure have been released.
The Independent Pricing and Regulatory
Tribunal of New South Wales is conducting an inquiry into
Bulk Water services provided by the NSW Department of Land
and Water Conservation
through its State Water business, in order to set maximum
prices
for those services.
Back in June 2001 the Water Directorate made a submission
to this inquiry. Our submission and costings can be viewed
at IPART Water Resource Management
Costings published on 19 July
2001.
The consultants reports prepared by PricewaterhouseCoopers
and ACIL respectively are now available for information on
the IPART website at What's
new? Updates? on the IPART website.
Comments are being sought prior to Friday 24 August 2001.
If your council does make any comments please also send these
to the Water Directorate for information.
