The winning project is an example of a partnership arrangement
developed for the effective use of Supervisory Control and
Data Acquisitor System (SCADA) services to the water industry.
The partnership enabled Dubbo City Council to expand the
actual SCADA system in ways not previously envisaged and
make Council aware of the possibilities for the future. This
successful partnership arrangement shows a method that other
small water authorities could adopt in acquiring SCADA services.
The Water Directorate was pleased to sponsor this award
and it congratulates Dubbo City Council on its award winning
