Manual for Water Reticulation |
10 October 2001
The Water Directorate is very pleased to have developed
an Operations and Maintenance Manual for Water Reticulation
on behalf of our member councils.
This Operations
and Maintenance (O&M) Manual is the fourth
to be prepared by Asset Design Services of Albury City Council.
It forms part of a series of O&M Manuals being developed
to assist local government in delivering a reliable and cost-effective
operations and maintenance regime. The user of this manual
will be those local government authorities throughout NSW
responsible for the operation and maintenance of water reticulation
activities.
It is presented
in a template format so that any Council can easily use
it to suit their specific
local installations
and conditions. It is divided into several sections with
each section concentrating upon a different aspect of implementing
a best practice O&M regime.
Forthcoming O&M
manuals will concentrate upon wet and dry well sewage pumping
stations, water pumping
stations (including
river offtakes, bores and inline booster installations) and
water supply service reservoirs.
The Water Directorate
welcomes any feedback you may have about the content, structure
or usefulness
of the O&M Manual.
A feedback form has been included for your convenience.
