The Water Directorate's second AGM
was held on Thursday 4 November 2004. A quorum was achieved
with 10 eligible attendees and all requirements under the
Incorporated Associations Act were satisfied.
Daryl
McGregor, Chair of the Water Directorate, drew attention to
the following highlights:
the membership rate amongst eligible councils increased
above 90%
our relationships with other organisations,
particularly the LGSA NSW, have strengthened over the past
12 months
our profile has increased with Government
departments.
Gary
Mitchell, Executive Officer, also reported:
seven publications were produced in 12
months, the most publications to date
the young engineers award was a successful
initiative and will again be awarded in 2005
the Water Managers Forum was considered
very informative by attendees at the Water Management Conference.
