The
Water Directorate was pleased to co-ordinate the Water
Managers' Forum for a third year. We were also very
pleased with the large attendance due to the following five
important discussion topics:
Water
Industry Safety;
Water
Loss Management Submission;
Inter-relationship
between IWCM and BASIX;
Savewater!
Alliance; and
the
new O&M Manual for STPs.
It
appeared that well over a half of the conference attendees
chose to go to this forum. Thanks to approximately 15
people who participated in the forum panels and particularly
to Adrian Wells, Manager Upper Murray, Murray Darling Association for capably
facilitating the forum again; John Werda and Paul McGrath
from Sydney Water; Chris Halliday from Country Energy; Adrian
Langdon from DEUS; Andrew Porter from DIPNR; Clr Robert Bell
from LGSA; Nigel Finney and two supporters from the SaveWater!
Alliance ; Larry Greentree from Dept of Commerce; and Water
Directorate panellists Daryl McGregor, Stewart McLeod and
John Gould.
The
