The
Water Directorate Executive Committee recently met to revise
our Strategic Plan. First drafted in November 2003, the Strategic
Plan sets out the objectives and actions of the Water Directorate
for the next 12 months and beyond.
At
our most recent meeting the committee decided to include advocacy
as one of our core objectives: provide guidance, assistance
and advocacy to ensure a sustainable water industry for NSW
Local Government.
A
copy of the Strategic
Plan is available to download. Comments from member councils
on the Strategic Plan are welcome and should be forwarded
to Gary
Mitchell.
