The
Water Directorate is very pleased to have developed the Section
64 Determinations of Equivalent Tenements Guidelines
on behalf of our member councils. The document was developed
by Hunter Water Australia under the direction and peer review
of the Water Directorate's Policy Subcommittee.
Developed
as one of the high priority actions of the Water Directorate's
Executive Committee, these Guidelines are to be used only
for input into the process of proportioning developer charges
under s64 of the Local Government Act 1993 to ensure
full and equitable cost recovery between different land use
categories.
Feedback
about the content, structure or usefulness of the Section
64 Determinations of Equivalent Tenements Guidelines is
also welcome. A feedback form has been included in the document
for your convenience.
Every
member council of the Water Directorate was posted a copy
of the latest Technical Guidelines. If your copy has
gone astray we suggest you check with the General Manager
