To
be involved you will need to select four employees from your
organisation to participate, one of whom will be the team
manager. Teams need to take part in up to three practical
components plus a theoretical multiple choice question
paper. Team members can be a mix of experienced trades
people or apprentices with the team manager offering both
skills and experience as well as support on the day.
Trophies
and prizes are to be won by teams from either member councils
of the Water Directorate or staff from energy generation and
supply organisations who demonstrate the best safe work practices.
Held
on 13 and 14 June 2007 at Rosehill Gardens Racecourse, James
Ruse Drive, Rosehill, the Water Directorate Safety Competition
will be a great way to network with your water industry colleagues
as well as learn more about important safety issues.
