Stewart McLeod, Director Technical Services, Dubbo City Council was recently elected the new Chair of the Water Directorate's Executive Committee.  Stewart has been Deputy Chair for the past year and replaces Daryl McGregor as the Chair.

Daryl recently announced his resignation as Manager of Albury Water and as a result he intends to step down from the Water Directorate's Executive Committee in the near future.

At the last Executive Committee meeting, the representatives unanimously resolved to thank Daryl for his excellent leadership and commitment to the Water Directorate over the past three years as Chair and almost seven years as a representative of the South West region.  During Daryl's chairmanship, the Water Directorate's profile has increased substantially due to his significant contribution.

Our new Chair, Stewart McLeod, has over 30 years of experience in Local Government with 12 years as a Director at Dubbo Ctiy Council.  Stewart is a driving force behind the Water Directorate's technical and water subcommittees and has been an elected representative for the Orana region since 1999.  The Water Directorate welcomes his appointment.
