The
AWA NSW Branch Regional Conference, tailored especially for
regional water utilities, is to be held in Dubbo on 17-18
November 2005.
The
Water Directorate recommends that its 96 member councils consider
attending this Conference. The theme of the 2005 NSW Branch
Regional Conference is "innovations, challenges and outcomes"
within the regional water industry.
Regional
water managers will present on a broad range of issues related
to the theme and will focus on key regional issues such as
water quality; supply and treatment; innovation and recycling.
In addition, the Water Directorate and AWA intend to sign
an updated Memorandum of Understanding at the Conference that
was first signed at the regional Conference in Albury in 1999.
